Another new feature supported in OBIEE 11.1.1.7 is to keep the
rows/columns headers visible.
Users have a choice to browse data by specifying the methods below
1) Fixed headers with scrolling content :( available for Table/Pivot views) - This option to use scrolling as the method to browse data
- Keeps headers of rows and columns visible at all times
- Includes horizontal and vertical scroll bars
2) Content paging - This option to use page controls as the method to browse data
Table view properties - Fixed headers with scrolling |
Hi there
ReplyDeleteI am not able to see the Vertical Scrolling feature active - Any idea why ?
Also, how do I freeze the header in the table
DeleteHello,
DeleteThank you for reading my blog.
To include horizontal and vertical scroll bars, you have to use the option "Fixed headers with scrolling content" in Table properties -> Style tab. If you are using pivot view you can select this option (Pivot Table Properties -> Style tab).
You should be able to keep header row (column labels( visible) and see vertical/horizontal scroll bars.
Hi Can u help me?
Deletethe table can't scroll but i have use option "fixed headers with scrolling content"
Using my Firefox browser (13.0.1), I was able to browse data using the new feature in 11.1.17 - Fixed headers with scrolling content.
ReplyDeleteBased on your comments, I tried to implement the new feature using Chrome and IE8. I had the same issue using IE8, scroll did not work.
This feature is NOT supported on IE 7/8(Note on Oracle® Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition Help document).
hi i'm just wanna using vertical scrolling for in gridview..how can i implement that?...thanks
ReplyDeleteHello, thanks for viewing my blog.
ReplyDeleteIn the latest version of OBIEE 11.1.1.7, you should be able to view data in Table view (fixed headers with scrolling content) as default. You can explicitly set the width & height of your table. This feature works fine in Firefox.
If you still having issues, post your comments.
Can you able to use content paging as default in table view properties..
ReplyDeleteI'll work on this scenario and if any solution will post it. Here is the patch which I have to apply and test.
